Iovino Tub & Spa, our service division, is a factory authorized Service Company for many major manufacturers. We have two main service divisions. The first performs surface repair of fiberglass and acrylic bathtubs and shower units. The second division handles mechanical service, repair and maintenance of hot tubs, spas, whirlpools, steam showers and saunas.

 Surface Repair

Iovino Tub & Spa is factory authorized for warranty repair of Kohler, MAAX/Aker, Jacuzzi Whirlpool Bath, Pearl Bath, LASCO Bathware and others. We are also the choice of hundreds of plumbers and building contractors and homeowners in the Pittsburgh and surrounding areas in need of our repair services. Repairs of chips, scratches, cracks and holes in fiberglass and acrylic tubs and showers are common.

Repair and Re-fabricate Weak or Cracked Tub or Shower Floors

Homeowners have depended on us to install new tub floors in units that are weak or cracked from age or improper support at time of installation. These cracks in the floor of a fiberglass or acrylic tub unit can appear after only a few years after installation if proper steps were not taken to support tub base. Our service allows homeowners to repair the unit instead of a costly renovation and replacement of their bath tub or shower base.

Handicap Tub to Shower Conversion 

Iovino Tub & Spa has pioneered an invaluable service to the aging or physically impaired to maintain independence while bathing or showering. We take the typical fiberglass, acrylic, or steel tub and shower unit and cut a section out of the front apron and re-fabricate the tub to finish the appearance. This allows for entrance into the tub with minimal lift of the feet.  This technique has been used in many retirement homes and assisted living homes in the Pittsburgh and surrounding areas. In Seneca Hills Village in Verona, Pa , we have converted over 35 units in this manner. Residents are thrilled with the results and we are proud to have helped to restore their independence.
